I love Design Business Company's new site — a big focus on the work, just as it should be. This quote from their About page really resonated:
We realize that naming a design company “Design Business Company” is like naming a dog “Dog” or a cat “Jerk.” But it makes good sense to us because it describes what we do—honestly.
Their website follows this same ethos: simply showing the great work they do, explained in clear language, with no crazy over-the-top effects or gimmicks.
The home page leads with a vibrant showreel video, giving you a quick taste of their vibe. After a concise intro, it's straight in to their featured projects...
Each project is presented with a horizontal-scrolling collection of images and videos, making it easy to browse through their trove of projects quickly.
I love how each project has a 'special thanks' section to shout out their valued collaborators!
This internal / experimental projects section is really cool — adding personality and an extra dimension to the company.
Check out this lovely easter egg — hovering the logo scrambles the words, letting you create endless combinations.
Their commitment to collaboration is shown off again on the About page, where they champion the people they work with really well.
The contact page rounds things off nicely — I love this quirky title layout that feels really refreshing and gives a lot of weight to this important page.
